YK Law Los Angeles celebrated the move to the new location and Thanksgiving Day appreciation reception successfully held

November 24, 2021

On November 19, 2021, in honor of Thanksgiving, YK Law LLP hosted a successful cocktail party in Downtown Los Angeles to celebrate the remission of the epidemic, the approaching of the New Year, and the firm’s move to its new location in Union Bank Plaza. YK invited more than 100 clients, partners, and political and business leaders to attend the reception. American-Chinese CEO Society, a co-organizer of the reception, invited dozens of directors and members of the Chamber to attend. Phoenix TV America, Los Angeles Post, SKY LINK TV, China Sky TV, and U.S. News Center were invited to attend the reception and reported on the event.

YK Law Executive Director Li Yongyuan said, the years 2020 and 2021 would be the very difficult two years for us.  As an international law firm, internationalization and cross-border legal services are our main practice areas and our core competency. However, the epidemic has prevented our clients from traveling and caused many cross-border transactions to be canceled, and we have not been able to meet with our friends and partners for almost two years. However, all of our clients and partners have been extremely supportive during the epidemic so that we can  navigate through this difficult time and continue to grow and thrive during this time. The move to our new location on the 22nd floor of Union Bank Plaza is a new beginning for us. We are honored to host this reception to celebrate our joy and welcome this year’s holiday season together.

Jesse Weiner, managing partner of YK Law and leading entertainment law attorney, said: “I have represented YK Law in the U.S. since 2012. In 2019, Mr.Li and I established YK Law in New York and set up a concurrent office in Los Angeles. Our Los Angeles and Irvine offices, based in Southern California, provide global, comprehensive, and one-stop commercial legal services for our clients. We look forward to continuing our growth in Southern California and providing quality legal and business services to support more of our clients.

Robert Sun, President of the U.S.-China Business Chamber of Commerce, and Jacob Wu, President of the Orange County Chinese Chamber of Commerce, congratulated YK Law on moving into its new location and expressed their expectation that YK Law will continue to grow and develop in the Southern California region and provide comprehensive legal support to Chinese businesses.

Yingke Law Firm Global Partners Mr. Xiangrong Mei and Ms. Lin Yang congratulated YK Law via video on behalf of Yingke Law’s 12,000 lawyers in China and said that YK Law is a core member firm of the global legal services network and a long-time partner of Yingke Law Firm in China. Yingke looks forward to working with YK Law to provide global legal solutions to clients in Southern California.
