Yingke’s Lawyers Appointed Member of the Expert Committee of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products

Linda Yang, Founding Partner of Yingke International, Global Partner of Yingke Law Firm, and Executive Chairwoman of Yingke Global Board, was invited to join the Expert Committee of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), providing professional services for cross-border investment mergers and acquisitions and ESG-related affairs for CCCMEand nearly 10,000 member enterprises.

Since its establishment, the Expert Committee has been developing itself in an all-round way under the position of “industrial high-end think tank, corporate service base and industrial cooperation platform”, which has been widely appraised by the industry. In order to further improve the experts in emerging and key fields, Hong Xiaoyong, Shao Laimin, Gu Wei, Jiang Fan, Liu Danyang, Zhang Guodong, Song Dongsheng and Linda Yang were newly appointed as experts upon nomination of the Director and Vice Chairman of the Committee and the deliberation and approval of the President’s Office Meeting of the CCCME.

Long Yongtu, then Vice Minister of former Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, chief negotiator of China’s resumption of GATT and WTO accession, former Director and Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, and Chen Jian, an expert in international engineering and economic and technological cooperation, former Vice Minister of Commerce and member of the 12^th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, served as senior consultants to guide its work.

Linda Yang, an expert of cross-border investment merger and international arbitration, has provided legal services for many influential cross-border transactions and complex disputes over the world. She is in charge of the international system construction and international business management of Yingke Law Firm.

Linda Yang graduated from Ocean University of China with a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature and international trade, and obtained a master’s degree in international law from China University of Political Science and Law. She serves as a member of the Steering Committee of the United Nations South-South Global Thinkers, a member of the “Investment and Trade” Working Group of the B20 Summit in Saudi Arabia in 2020, a member of the “Finance and Infrastructure” Working Group of the B20 Summit in Italy in 2021, a member of the thousand lawyers for foreign-related affairs selected by the Ministry of Justice, and the outstanding lawyer selected by the Ministry of Justice in 2021. Linda Yang was invited as a tutor for master students in School of Foreign Studies of China University of Political Science and Law, School of Law, Tsinghua University, China Foreign Affairs University, and School of International Law, Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

Hong Xiaoyong

Expert in international issues and economic and trade relations. He once served as Chinese Ambassador to Singapore and Vietnam, Deputy Commissioner (Chief Librarian) of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Hong Kong, and Deputy Director of the General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Shao Laimin

Expert in enterprise production management and engineering construction, senior production operator. He serves as the Senior Vice Chairman of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Food Enterprise of Chia Tai (Zhengda) Group in China, Chief Construction Officer of Zhengda Investment Co., Ltd., Chairman and CEO of Zhengda Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Shanghai Zhengcheng Electromechanical Manufacturing Co., Ltd.. He has many years of experience in overall management of collectivized production and engineering construction.

Gu Wei

System engineering expert, Doctor of Management, professor and doctoral supervisor. He serves as the Dean of the School of Economics & Management, USTB, Director of Futures and Securities Research Center, Postdoctoral Fellow of KATZ Business School, University of Pittsburgh, USA, and winner of leading talents in philosophy and social sciences of the national “Ten Thousand Talents Program”. In recent years, he conducted a series of studies in data-driven enterprise operation decision-making, complex system decision-making theory and methods, e-commerce and business intelligence, logistics and supply chain management.

Jiang Fan

Foreign trade expert. He was once the first-class inspector (director level) of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce, the Minister Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Britain, and the Special Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce in Wuhan. He has long been engaged in foreign trade management, development planning and comprehensive analysis.

Liu Danyang

Expert in trade friction response, trade remedy and rule making. He is the Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters. He once served as the Deputy Director of the Trade Relief Investigation Bureau and the Fair-Trade Bureau under the Ministry of Commerce and participated in the negotiation of relevant WTO rules. He has been responsible for dealing with trade frictions between China and the United States, and China and Europe.

Zhang Guodong

Expert in foreign trade and economic and technical cooperation, and senior engineer. He was a full-time supervisor of China General Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. and the General Manager of China Machinery Import and Export Group Co., Ltd. He has been engaged in international trade and project contracting for several years

Song Dongsheng

International project contracting expert, senior engineer, special allowance expert of the State Council, and arbitrator of Beijing Arbitration Commission. He was the Chinese representative of Xiaolangdi Sino-German-Italian Joint Venture, Deputy Director of Sinohydro Bureau 11 Co., Ltd., Chairman of SINOHYDRO Corporation Limited, General Manager of PowerChina International Group Limited, and Chairman of International New Energy Solution Platform. He holds more than 30 years of experience in international engineering.
