The National Speed Skating Oval is the iconic venue for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and the only new ice competition venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, which was named as “Ice Ribbon” because of the 22 crystal ribbon-shaped curved glass curtain walls surrounding it.
On March 21, 2017, the Beijing Major Project Construction Headquarters Office issued the “Announcement on the Legal Consulting Service Procurement Project Transaction Results of the National Speed Skating Oval PPP Project”. Yingke Law Firm successfully won the bid and officially became the legal consulting service provider for the project.
For three years since 2017, the Yingke legal service team led by lawyers Yongjun Yan and Fei Zhou, provided the National Speed Skating Oval PPP project with implementation plan of the National Speed Skating Oval, project bidding and tendering, project contract review, compliance review, etc. Through participating in relevant negotiation and consultations, Yingeke provided procedural legal services for the construction of the National Speed Skating Oval to help the successful holding of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
