At the beginning of the forum, Jiang Ming, President of the China Federation of Commerce, pointed out that in the face of the double pressure of the epidemic situation and its impact on the economy and society, in order to accelerate the communication, exchange and coordinated development between enterprises across the Straits, Hong Kong and Macao, and to explore the development mode of modern service industry in the post epidemic era, the holding of this forum is of far-reaching significance in reality and in the long run. The service industry colleagues of both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao should give full play to the role of the bridge and link of this open platform, continuously promote the comprehensive linkage of the industrial chain of relevant enterprises on both sides of the Straits and Hong Kong and Macao, strive to promote the interconnection of enterprises on both sides of the Straits and Hong Kong and Macao, promote cooperation through opening up, and promote development through coordination, so as to form a joint development pattern of win-win service industry cooperation between the two sides of the Straits and Hong Kong and Macao. President Jiang Ming put forward two suggestions on the development of the cross-strait and Hong Kong and Macao service industry. The first is to promote opening up, optimize the environment, and build a virtuous interaction between international and domestic circles, so as to give full play to the role of the forum as a bridge. The second is to promote innovation and build a three-dimensional industrial chain system to create a new business environment with new infrastructure.

Zhang Yuanming, chairman of the Taiwan Service Industry Alliance Association, pointed out that the service industry has become a leading industry on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao, which is an important driving force for economic growth and has made great contributions to economic growth and employment rate improvement. It is hoped that the relevant practitioners from both sides of the Straits and Hong Kong and Macao can make extensive exchanges and communication through this forum, especially Hong Kong and Macao, which account for a very high proportion of the service industry. I believe that they have rich experience and in-depth insight into the development of the service industry. The unique experience and development strategies of the four regions on both sides of the Taiwan Straits can be used for reference, complementing and benefiting each other. In the course of exchanges and cooperation, the two sides can truly “gather strength” and create a better future for the service industry!
