As the year 2022 is approaching, in order to promote the integration among Yingke’s law firms in the Greater Bay Area and the development of Yingke’s foreign-related legal services, the “Global Mindset – Local Instict” 2021 Yingke Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area foreign-related legal services integration construction forum was held on the afternoon of December 23, 2021 at the 32nd floor of Shenzhen Guangdian Financial Center.
The forum was organized by the Yingke Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Integration Center and the South China Foreign Legal Service Center of Yingke, hosted by Beijing Yingke (Shenzhen) Law Firm, and co-organized by Beijing Yingke (Guangzhou) Law Firm, Yingke Shenzhen Foreign Legal Affairs Center, and China Merchants Yingke Foreign Legal Pro Bono Service Center, inviting many big names, representatives of organizations and international friends from the legal community at home and abroad to participate. The forum focused on why the construction of the Greater Bay Area was chosen from a macro perspective, Yingke’s foreign-related legal services and the specific content of the legal services, how to dovetail with international economic and trade rules, the construction of the rule of law in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the training of foreign-related rule of law talents, the collaboration of cross-border legal services, and the prevention of compliance risks for enterprises “going abroad” and overseas investment, etc. The seminar showed the achievements of Yingke and Shenzhen foreign-related lawyers in the integration construction of foreign-related legal services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The forum was co chaired by lawyer Xie Juan and lawyer Hua Junli.
Mr. Tan Jinsong, Partner of Yingke Global Headquarters, Director of Yingke National Sports Industry Law Center and Director of Yingke Shenzhen Foreign-related Legal Affairs Center, gave an opening speech and introduced the guests and speakers to the forum.
The first session
Ms. Yang Lin, Founding Partner, Global Partner and Executive Director of the Board of Directors of Yingke Global, gave us a comprehensive overview of Yingke International’s development strategy via video link.
Li Jingwu,Yingke Global Partner, Deputy Executive Director of China region of Yingke and Director of Yingke Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Integration Center, gave us a comprehensive introduction on how Yingke Shenzhen is moving towards the head of the times in the integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau in the Greater Bay Area.

The second session
First of all, Dr. Zhou Weizheng, Deputy Director of the Coordination and Development Department of the Office of the Greater Bay Area of Shenzhen Municipal Committee presiding over the work, delivered a keynote speech for the forum with the theme of “Strengthening the docking of international economic and trade rules and enhancing the level of market integration in the Greater Bay Area”. He said the differences in the system can also turn into gains for the system, and he expressed the hope that the government’s decision-making departments and policy-making departments can work together with the market-oriented subjects in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, including legal service organizations such as Yingke Law Firm, making the docking international economic and trade rules and the provision of foreign-related legal services as entry points, so that the differences and complementarities of the Greater Bay Area market into unlimited development possibilities.
Then, Caroline Ann Quinn, the guest speaker of 2021 Shenzhen Global Innovation Talent Forum, delivered a speech on the theme of “Reasons for Choosing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao and the Greater Bay Area”. She believed that Shenzhen is China’s Silicon Valley, which is the most suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises of electronic information, artificial intelligence and technology innovation to settle down and start their business in the world, and the Shenzhen government has provided a good business environment and services for start-up enterprises and expatriates.
Afterwards, senior lawyers from Yingke International’s overseas offices shared their views on legal issues in cross-border investment and other areas through online meetings.

The appointment ceremony for the deputy director of Yingke’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Integration Center was held next. Li Jingwu, a global partner of Yingke and director of Yingke’s Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Integration Center, presented Mr. Lan Caiming with an appointment letter as deputy director of Yingke’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Integration Center.
Mr. Lan Caiming is a global partner of Yingke and has extensive experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy restructuring, civil and commercial litigation, foreign investment, and urban renewal and renovation. Afterwards, Mr. Lan delivered a speech on how Yingke’s foreign-related lawyers can work on the integration of foreign-related legal services in the Greater Bay Area.
