Overview

Yingke FOREIGN LEGAL CONSULTANT OFFICE was officially established on November 15th, 2019. It is the first batch of overseas branches established in the mode of “direct investment, direct management” after the proposal of “Global One-hour Legal Service Circle” by Yingke Law Firm.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 1992, with the joint efforts of both sides, the economic and trade relationship between the two countries have developed continually and rapidly, forming a comprehensive, wide-ranging and multi-level cooperation pattern. According to the official data of 2018, China is the largest trading partner and the largest export and import market of South Korea, and South Korea is the third trading partner of China. The economic and trade cooperation between China and South Korea have outstanding complementary advantages, huge growth potential and broad development space. Yingke FOREIGN LEGAL CONSULTANT OFFICE will devote to providing high-quality legal service for economic and trade exchanges and business exchanges between China and South Korea.

There are two Chinese lawyers, three paralegals, and one administrative assistant in Yingke FOREIGN LEGAL CONSULTANT OFFICE. The plan is to have about 10 Chinese employees based in Seoul in three years. Zhu Cuiying, the managing partner, graduated from the University of International Business and Economics with a bachelor’s degree and from Seoul National University with a master’s degree and doctor’s degree. She used to work in the Beijing Representative Office of Lee & Ko Law Firm. Now she is the partner of Yingke Law Firm, and her main practice fields include foreign investment, overseas investment, intellectual property rights, franchising, foreign dispute resolution, and so on.

As the second Chinese law firm that formally obtained the practice license in the judicial department of South Korea, Yingke FOREIGN LEGAL CONSULTANT OFFICE will rely on the resources of Yingke branches and international partner law firms around the world, to continue strengthening the cooperation with senior lawyers in various professional fields and lawyers specialized in Korean legal affairs who works for Yingke branches, so as to provide Korean clients with the most efficient and convenient legal services regarding China law.
