Yingke PKW Slovakia & Czech republic is a limited liability company originated from two law firms – Attorney´s office Martin Winkler & PKW based in Bratislava, Slovakia and Attorney´s office Ľudovít Pavela based in Prague, Czech republic. We are covering legal services, accounting and auditing for clients who make business in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Our company creates a bridge for foreign clients wishing to do business in the local market and the Czech and Slovak clients wishing to do business abroad. During our legal practice we have helped many foreign clients including companies and individuals from People´s republic of China wishing to do business in both countries.

With our team of 26 lawyers and other professionals at our headquarters in Bratislava and branches in Prague and Kosice we can provide quality services in the most demanding legal cases in all major areas of Slovak and Czech law and also in the related professional advisory areas such as accounting, tax advisory services, business advisory and audit. We provide our services in Slovak, Czech, English, German, and French languages in all fields of business activities of our clients.

Key Members

LUDOVIT PAVELA

Ľudovít Pavela is the founder of the Attorney´s Office Pavela and responsible for the legal services provided by Yingke PKW in Czech republic. In 2001, he graduated from the Law Faculty of P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia. In 2004 he studied at the University of Maine, School of Law in Portland, Maine, USA. Ľudovít Pavela has provided legal advisory since 2001. He has been a member of the Czech Bar Association since 2006 and a member of the Slovak Bar Association since 2007.

Ľudovít Pavela specializes in commercial, civil and labour law with a deeper concentration in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, changes of legal forms, registered capital changes, transfers of enterprises, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, enforcing contractual obligations, real estate law, establishing and protecting ownership rights, negotiating and drafting management and employment contracts and resolving labour law disputes.

Since 2012 he is also an arbitrator at The Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. He speaks Slovak, Czech and English.

LUDOVIT PAVELA

Monika Feigerlova

Monika Feigerlová has been practicing law since 2003 and was admitted to the Czech Bar Association in 2007. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno (2003) and obtained a PhD. in civil law at Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague (2009).

In the course of her studies, she undertook a programme in international business law at Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 2002. She also completed post-graduate studies in International Dispute Settlement (LL.M.) at the Graduate Institute and University of Geneva (2012).

Prior to joining Yingke PKW law firm, Monika spent more than 8 years in leading law firms in Prague in a highly international environment, providing legal services to major domestic and international clients. She also obtained training at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre and the ICC Arbitration Court in Paris.

Monika has considerable experience in advising on both cross-border as well as domestic transactions and in her legal practice she focuses on litigation before courts and arbitral tribunals (contracts on work, lease agreements, post-acquisition disputes), corporate law (mergers, corporate reorganizations, transfers of undertakings, and takeover bids), and real estate (due diligence, purchase and sale agreements, landlord/tenant issues and property development). She has also in-depth legal expertise in international investment law and international arbitration. She is a member of the Grading Committee of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Program at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and to a number of professional organizations focused on international law (OGEMID, LCIA Young International Arbitration Group, ASA Below 40).

She speaks Czech, English and French.

Marketa Jancova

Markéta Jančová graduated from Charles University, the Faculty of Law in Prague in 2002. In the course of her studies, she spent one year at Cardiff University the Law Faculty where she obtained a diploma in legal studies.

She has provided legal advisory since 2002 and has been registered as an attorney at law with the Czech Bar Association since 2005. Before joining Yingke PKW law firm, she spent nine years at the law firm Weinhold Legal, providing legal services to leading Czech and supranational companies.

Her main activities focuses on corporate law, i.e. mergers and acquisitions, de-mergers, changes in legal form, transfers of undertakings, and real estate law, primarily specializing in due diligence and legal services associated with the purchase, sale and lease of land and buildings and with constructions (including infrastructure). Markéta Jančová also provides legal advisory in commercial contracts and insolvency law.
