Juan Pablo is a founding partner at the law firm BARREIRO. OLIVA. DE LUCA. JACA. NICASTRO in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he leads the Dispute Resolution team. He has 20 years of experience working with commercial law and resolving conflicts through negotiation, litigation and investment- and commercial arbitration.
Juan Pablo frequently advises clients on complex negotiations, dispute resolution clauses, precautionary judicial measures, judicial proceedings, arbitration and other dispute resolution processes and techniques within all business sectors but with particular expertise in contracts, technology, construction, energy, oil and gas, and debt restructuring matters.
Juan Pablo has been recognized in Who’s Who Legal as a leader in his areas. He served as Secretary of Room B of the National Chamber of Commercial Appeals in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has acted as counsel and expert in domestic and international arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, ICDR and ICSID. He participated as a speaker in the last congress of the International Society of Construction Law Conference, held in Chicago. He is a member of the Arbitration Commission of the ICC Argentina.
